About ALCOVE

  • ALCOVE’s premium, private Pods make your productive mindset a reality at home or away.

  • Each 4×7′ ALCOVE Pod is soundproof up to 30 decibels and equipped with an adjustable sit-stand desk, ergonomic leather chair, dimmable lighting, and thoughtful decor.

    Every Pod includes WiFi, charging ports, and secondary monitors with universal adapters. All Pods are designed for one guest.

  • Our Boerum Hill and Berkeley locations remain open on holidays.

    At Park Slope, our 2025 holiday closures are as follows:

    • New Year’s Day – January 1

    • Martin Luther King Jr. Day – January 20

    • Memorial Day – May 26

    • Independence Day – July 4

    • Labor Day – September 1

    • Thanksgiving Holiday – November 27–28

    • Christmas Holiday – December 25–26

    • New Year’s Eve – December 31

    Please note that ALCOVE may occasionally close on additional days. For the most up-to-date availability, we recommend checking Pod reservations through our drop-in widget or the ALCOVE app.

Pod Reservations

    1. Drop-in reservation web widget: Quickly reserve a Pod for as much time as you need (as few as 15 minutes) anytime, no app required. (Please note, Membership credits and other promotions cannot be applied through drop-in reservations.)

    2. ALCOVE app: For the most seamless experience, use our ALCOVE app. Everything you need is in one place: purchase a Membership (hour packages or recurring plans), manage or adjust reservations, and update your account and payment details. After purchasing a Membership, simply tap “Reserve a Pod” on the home screen to use your included hours.

  • All ALCOVE Pods are the same in design and amenities — each is 4×7 ft, soundproofed up to 30 decibels, and thoughtfully equipped with high-speed WiFi, an adjustable sit-stand desk, monitor, ergonomic leather chair, dimmable lighting, charging ports, and curated decor.

    At Park Slope, the only difference is their placement within the space: some Pods receive more natural light, while others offer added visual privacy. Over time, many guests find themselves developing a favorite!

    • Standard ALCOVE Pods are available to reserve for $15/hour in Park Slope and $18/hour in Boerum Hill and Claremont.

    • Full-day (8-hour) reservations are automatically offered at a special price of $13.95/hour at our Park Slope location.

    • Membership plans and packages are available with special pricing as low as $12/hour.

  • Your reservation guarantees access to a private ALCOVE Pod during your scheduled time. Each 4’x7’ Pod is soundproof (up to 30 decibels) and equipped with an adjustable sit-stand desk, ergonomic leather chair, dimmable lighting, and thoughtful décor for comfort and focus.

    High-speed Wi-Fi (wireless only), monitors with adapters, and charging ports are included in every Pod.

    At Park Slope, additional items such as screen protectors, monitor and laptop stands, and spare USB-C chargers are available upon request.

  • Park Slope: Check in at our front desk and our Guest Experience Associate will show you to your Pod!

    Boerum Hill and Berkeley: Check your reservation confirmation email for access details for your Pod. Questions? Just reach out to our ALCOVE Concierge and we’ll be happy to help, or check in with the hotel front desk.

  • Reservations may be canceled or rescheduled up to 4 hours before the scheduled start time. 

    When guests cancel or shorten a reservation more than 4 hours before the scheduled start time, they will receive a credit in the amount of the cancellation or reduction that will be automatically applied to new reservations made through the ALCOVE app. Please reach out to us for questions about refunds to your original payment method.

    Cancellations or changes made within 4 hours will result in a loss of credits.

    If something comes up near your reservation time, please reach out to our ALCOVE Concierge team and we'll do our best to accommodate your request.

  • You’re welcome to arrive anytime during your reserved window.

    Please note that cancellations or reschedules made less than 4 hours in advance are still charged for the full reservation. If you need to adjust your reservation close to your reservation time, please reach out to our ALCOVE Concierge team and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

  • If you make a reservation and you do not have an ALCOVE Membership, you will be charged at the time of booking your reservation for the full price. 

    (Please note, Membership credits and other promotions cannot be applied through drop-in reservations made on our web widget.)

    The billing policy for Members varies by Membership type:

    • If you have a Recurring Membership (monthly or weekly plan), you will be charged on the date you first purchase the plan, and charged recurrently every 30 days (monthly)  or 7 days (weekly) after the date of first purchase. 

    • If you have a Membership Package (one-time pack of hours), you will be charged in full on the date you first purchase the plan.

    • When you make drop-in reservations of Pods after purchasing a Membership, you will not make any additional payments until your allowance is fully used. For example, if you have the Camogli Plan (10 hours of Pod allowance credits recurring monthly), you will not make any additional payments for reservations until you have used 10 hours’ worth of allowance credits. After that, you will be charged the hourly rate for any additional reservations.

    • If you have an Unlimited Membership, you will not make any additional payments for reservations as long as your Membership is valid.

    • Please see each Membership’s description for details on cancellation policy.

  • The minimum reservation time is 15 minutes; however, we highly recommend reserving at least one hour to allow for time to settle in and take full advantage of your Pod!

  • We’re so happy to hear you’d like more time in your ALCOVE Pod!

    • In the ALCOVE app, during your active reservation: Tap the “booking details” tray at the bottom of your app’s screen. Please note, extensions are only available if there's not another reservation immediately following yours, and are only available during an active reservation. 

    If you have downloaded the app, you’ll also receive push notifications near the end of your booking time to extend for 15, 30, or 60 minutes if the Pod is available.

    • If you do not have the ALCOVE app: Please reach out to our ALCOVE Concierge and we’re always happy to help extend for you.

    Please note, if your reservation has already ended, you’ll need to make a new reservation in order to stay longer (you cannot extend a reservation that has ended).

    All reservations automatically have a 15-minute buffer before and after in order to ensure guests can transition smoothly, so if your Pod is available after your reservation has already ended, you’ll be able to make a new reservation that begins after the 15-minute buffer period.

  • Allowance credits come from memberships, purchased credit packages, or promotions. 

    Invoice credits are issued when a reservation is canceled within our cancellation period of 4 hours before the booking.

  • Allowance credits: You can view your remaining allowance credits directly in the app. Simply tap “More” in the bottom-right corner of the screen to see your balance.

    Invoice credits: Invoice credits are issued separately and will be emailed to you when available. If you need help locating them, our team can pull your invoice credits for you

  • Yes,  ALCOVE Pods are available on Croissant, LiquidSpace, Deskpass (now part of the WeWork Coworking Partner Network), Gable, Upflex and Desana.

    Please note that pricing, cancellation policies, and reservation terms may vary depending on the platform.

    Please note, once purchased, Membership Packages (one-time packs of hours) are not refundable. Please reach out to us if you have a request related to a Package and we will do our best to accommodate.

Features

  • We don’t currently serve food or beverages at our Park Slope location. In lieu of onsite coffee, snacks and lunch, please use one of our partnership cards with nearby café Little Honey (available to pick up in-person at ALCOVE) to receive 10% off your purchases there!

    At our Boerum Hill and Claremont locations, food and beverage is available for purchase within the hotels.

  • At our Park Slope location, guests with a Pod reservation are welcome to use the shared space and seating nooks up to 30 minutes before and after their reserved time.

    For example, if your Pod is booked from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, you may enjoy access to the space from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM.

  • Yes! Our Two-Seat Pod (Pod 9 - Montauk Club) at ALCOVE Park Slope accommodates two guests.

  • Yes, ALCOVE is available for event bookings, including group bookings / buyouts and after-hours events. Please email us to discuss.

  • All guests must be 18 years or older, and pets are not permitted.

    Service dogs individually trained to perform tasks for an individual with a disability are welcome. For more details, please see Section 21 of our Terms.

  • High-speed WiFi access is included with your Pod reservation. We don’t offer wired internet access at this time.

  • At ALCOVE Park Slope, there is room for strollers to be brought inside the space (outside your Pod) during your reservation.

  • Yes, at our Park Slope location, you can lock your bike in the fenced area outside. Please note that we can’t take responsibility for bikes left unattended.

  • We don’t offer these services at this time, but please let us know if you would use this service and we’ll keep you updated!

  • We do not offer dedicated storage at this time.
